Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entry, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filings for all clients.
- Perform variance analysis and provide detailed reporting to senior management to support business decision-making.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all documentation is organized and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals during annual audits.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) to streamline financial processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proven experience working in a remote or hybrid accounting environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial data clearly.
- Must reside in the United States and be authorized to work.
