Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with precision and efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly payroll reports and support the annual tax filing process.
- Utilize cloud-based accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero) to streamline financial workflows.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to the management team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a preference for remote work experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws, financial regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work autonomously.
