Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with corporate tax preparation, filing, and compliance requirements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Conduct variance analysis and assist in the annual budgeting process.
- Collaborate with the finance team to implement process improvements and internal controls.
- Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
