Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, ensuring timely processing and accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and company standards.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage general ledger entries with a high degree of precision.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and coordinate with external auditors during annual reviews.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) to streamline financial workflows and generate reports.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to mitigate financial risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and cloud-based accounting platforms.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
