Key Duties:
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense tracking.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial data is up-to-date and error-free.
- Assist with tax preparation filings at the federal and state levels.
- Conduct audits and provide detailed documentation to support financial findings.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow and budget forecasting.
- Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and strict deadlines.
