Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings, ensuring full compliance.
- Conduct regular audits and internal reviews to identify process improvements.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide insights on financial performance and cash flow management.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity within our accounting software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in general accounting, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
