We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Las Vegas. Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports.
- Assist with annual tax preparation and ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll and manage employee benefits documentation.
- Perform variance analysis and assist in budget forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate effectively via Slack and Zoom.
