Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with year-end audits and quarterly tax preparations.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee time records.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
