Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and coordinate with external auditors.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and manage depreciation schedules.
- Process payroll and manage employee expense reports with high precision.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to support budget forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of U.S. tax laws and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data.
