Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees semi-monthly
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefits enrollments
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Generate payroll reports for leadership and auditors
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding processes
- Maintain confidential employee records and data security
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar systems
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
- Expert knowledge of CA labor laws and tax codes
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
