Join our dynamic finance team as a Payroll Specialist at Global Financial Solutions Inc. We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage accurate and timely payroll processing for our 500+ employees. Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for US-based employees including time tracking, deductions, and tax withholdings
- Manage garnishments, benefits deductions, and 401(k) contributions with precision
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies in payroll systems
- Stay updated on FLSA, NJ state laws, and IRS regulations affecting payroll
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues within 24 hours
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments on payroll-related projects
- Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax filings and W-2 distributions
Qualifications
- 3+ years of US payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) preferred
- Strong knowledge of NJ labor laws and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data validation
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
