Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees with 100% accuracy
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax compliance (federal/state/local)
- Administer benefits enrollment and deductions including 401(k) and health insurance
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Generate payroll reports for finance and HR leadership
- Ensure adherence to FLSA and Louisiana labor regulations
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS platforms
- Deep knowledge of federal/state tax regulations (LA specific)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
