Responsibilities
- Process weekly/bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations (FLSA, FICA, KS withholding)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and voluntary benefits enrollments
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies within 24 hours
- Generate payroll reports for finance/HR leadership
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries with 98% accuracy rate
- Coordinate year-end tax filings (W-2, 1099) and audits
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience (ADP/Paychex certified preferred)
- Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and payroll software
- Deep knowledge of federal/state payroll regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of error-free payroll cycles
- Ability to manage confidential data with discretion
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
