Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct month-end closing procedures and reconcile bank accounts
- Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial initiatives
- Implement and optimize accounting systems for enhanced efficiency
- Ensure accurate tax filings and documentation for federal/state requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred (not required)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance preferred
