Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees across multiple states using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations (CA, NY, TX)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings accurately
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Support year-end tax reporting (W-2, 1099) and audits
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience (CA required)
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent HRIS expertise
- Deep knowledge of CA wage & hour laws and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven ability to handle confidential payroll data with discretion
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
