Responsibilities
- Process accurate and timely payroll for 500+ employees across 12 states
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings in compliance with federal/state regulations
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries with exceptional service
- Collaborate with HR on new hires, terminations, and compensation changes
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing and reporting
- Conduct quarterly and annual payroll audits for internal controls
- Stay updated on FLSA, ACA, and state labor law changes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP, Paychex, or similar payroll systems
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of federal/state tax regulations and labor laws
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive data with strict confidentiality
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
