Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 150+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (FLSA, FICA, etc.)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and direct deposit enrollments
- Prepare and file quarterly payroll tax returns (Form 941, 940)
- Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies within 24 hours
- Conduct annual payroll audits and reconciliation processes
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification preferred
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, FICA, and Texas labor laws
- Proficient in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) and payroll systems
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
