Responsibilities

  • Process semi-monthly payroll for all employees using ADP or QuickBooks, ensuring 100% accuracy in time tracking, deductions, and gross-to-net calculations.
  • Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws, including the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual returns.
  • Manage employee leave balances, workers' compensation claims, garnishments, and other voluntary deductions.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay stubs, W-2s, tax forms, and compensation details in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate closely with the HR department to maintain accurate personnel records and update employee information.
  • Prepare payroll reports for management and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in payroll processing, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency with payroll software (ADP Workforce Now, Paycor, or equivalent) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
