  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing (bi-weekly) for 500+ employees, ensuring accuracy in gross-to-net calculations.
  • Ensure strict compliance with FLSA regulations, California labor laws, and federal tax requirements.
  • Administer employee benefits administration, including open enrollment and time-off tracking.
  • Conduct regular payroll audits and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and file quarterly and annual state and federal payroll tax reports (e.g., Form 941, CA DE9/DE6).
  • Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related employee inquiries.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to update payroll policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in payroll processing and administration.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (ADP Workforce Now, Paycor, or similar) is highly preferred.
