Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (IRS, DOL, KS DOR)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and 401(k) contributions with precision
- Handle employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies within SLAs
- Generate quarterly and annual tax filings (941, 940, W-2s)
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding and benefit updates
- Implement process improvements using Excel VLOOKUP and pivot tables
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's in Accounting preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIFs, pivot tables)
- Strong attention to detail with numerical aptitude
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions
- Willingness to complete paid certification training (CPP/PRC)
- Basic understanding of FLSA and overtime regulations
- Reliable transportation for occasional downtown meetings
