Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 100+ employees with precision and timeliness
- Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Handle garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments accurately
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within 24 hours
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end and year-end payroll reporting
- Maintain confidential employee records per HRIS standards
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years of payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or equivalent payroll software
- Strong understanding of FLSA, IRS, and Texas payroll regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot table experience
- PHR or CPP certification highly desirable
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance
