Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll, garnishments, and tax filings with 100% accuracy
- Manage employee timekeeping systems and resolve discrepancies
- Conduct payroll audits and prepare compliance reports (FLSA, IRS, state regulations)
- Support year-end processes including W-2 generation and 1099 reporting
- Collaborate with HR on benefits deductions and employee inquiries
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll platforms
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) preferred
- Strong knowledge of federal/state labor laws and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table experience
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
