Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Conduct client consultations to understand financial situations and tax needs
- Utilize tax software (ProSystem fx, Lacerte) for efficient return processing
- Stay updated on tax law changes through continuous training
- Collaborate with senior tax professionals on complex tax scenarios
- Maintain accurate client documentation and confidentiality
- Identify tax-saving opportunities for clients
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of tax concepts and IRS regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail with numerical data
- Valid Nevada driver's license (client travel required)
