As a Payroll Specialist, you will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
- Process weekly and monthly payroll for all employees using ADP Workforce Now.
- Ensure accurate tax filings, including federal, state, and local withholdings.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries regarding paychecks and deductions.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare month-end financial reports.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee data and financial records.
- Stay updated on changing payroll laws and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Proficiency in payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, or QuickBooks Payroll.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state wage and hour laws.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex payroll concepts.
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
