Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll accurately and efficiently using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage time and attendance systems to reconcile hours and overtime
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Handle garnishments, deductions, and tax filings accurately
- Respond to payroll inquiries from employees with exceptional customer service
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare financial reports
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and termination processing
- Implement continuous improvements to payroll workflows
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with ADP systems
- Proven knowledge of Alaska state and federal payroll regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS platforms
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Associates degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- PHR or CPP certification a plus
