Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage tax filings, garnishments, and year-end reconciliations
- Implement and maintain payroll policies aligned with FLSA and CA labor laws
- Collaborate with HR on benefits administration and 401(k) processing
- Conduct payroll audits and troubleshoot discrepancies
- Generate payroll reports for executive leadership and external audits
- Train HR staff on payroll processes and system updates
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP certification or equivalent payroll system expertise
- Deep knowledge of CA payroll regulations and compliance requirements
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR)
- Proven ability to manage confidential payroll data
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
