Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees bi-weekly using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax compliance across 5 states
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare quarterly tax filings
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies within SLA timelines
- Implement process improvements using data analytics
- Train HR team on payroll policies and system updates
- Ensure FLSA compliance and wage law adherence
Qualifications
- 3+ years US payroll processing experience with multi-state knowledge
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and HRIS familiarity
- Strong problem-solving with 100% accuracy on compliance matters
- PHR/SPHR or CPP certification preferred
- Experience with union payroll and complex deductions
