Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll cycles including bi-weekly calculations, tax filings, and garnishments
- Administer employee benefits deductions and 401(k) contributions with precision
- Maintain compliance with federal/state labor laws and FLSA regulations
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and investigate variances promptly
- Generate payroll reports for finance leadership and external audits
- Support new hire onboarding and payroll system maintenance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
- Strong understanding of FLSA, garnishment laws, and tax regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Business or equivalent experience
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table capabilities
- CPP certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and confidentiality standards
