Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings with 100% accuracy
- Conduct payroll reconciliations and journal entries monthly
- Support year-end processes including W-2 generation and 1099s
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and payroll data integration
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
- Ensure compliance with FLSA, IRS, and Texas state labor laws
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience with ADP systems
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Expert knowledge of federal/state payroll regulations and tax codes
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table proficiency
- PHR or CPP certification strongly preferred
- Proven track record of zero-error payroll cycles
- Experience with multi-state payroll compliance
- Excellent communication skills for employee inquiries
