Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees with 100% accuracy
- Manage tax filings, garnishments, and benefit deductions across multiple states
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies with HRIS systems
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within 24-hour SLA
- Implement new payroll policies and ensure compliance with FLSA and IRS regulations
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding processes affecting payroll
- Maintain confidential employee records and payroll documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- Expertise in ADP Workforce Now or comparable payroll systems
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Proven ability to meet strict deadlines in high-volume environments
- Strong problem-solving skills for payroll discrepancies and audits
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
