Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities using advanced Excel modeling and SQL queries
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive leadership
- Develop detailed budgets and forecasts aligned with strategic business objectives
- Conduct variance analysis between projected and actual performance with actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with department heads to understand financial needs and provide data-driven insights
- Streamline financial processes through automation and workflow optimization initiatives
- Support due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and investment opportunities
- Present financial findings to stakeholders through clear visualizations and executive summaries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in corporate or financial services
- Advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, PivotTables, Power Query)
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex data for non-financial audiences
