We're seeking a detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to support our growing portfolio of tech clients. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work remotely 2 days/week while collaborating with industry leaders in our modern downtown San Jose office. You'll play a pivotal role in transforming complex financial data into actionable insights that shape our clients' growth strategies.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, KPIs, and market trends to produce comprehensive financial models and forecasts
- Prepare detailed variance reports and executive dashboards highlighting performance against strategic objectives
- Lead budgeting and planning processes for high-growth technology companies
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support M&A activities and investment decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing strategies and profitability models
- Present complex financial insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of financial analysis experience in a tech or consulting environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and financial modeling
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives for non-financial stakeholders
