Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees using ADP Workforce Now.
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and net pay according to local and federal regulations.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax returns (Form 941, State unemployment, etc.).
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries regarding pay stubs, tax forms (W-2s), and direct deposits.
- Collaborate with HR to update employee information, track time off, and process commission payments.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee data and financial records.
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and errors in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
- Experience with payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or similar) is required.
- Strong knowledge of FLSA regulations, tax laws, and payroll compliance.
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and payroll databases.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex payroll topics to non-financial staff.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
