Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 150+ employees using ADP and QuickBooks
- Calculate and garnish deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings per IRS and state regulations
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies with finance team
- Generate payroll reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors
- Ensure compliance with Alaska state labor laws and federal tax requirements
- Maintain confidential employee payroll records and secure documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience in Alaska
- Proficiency with ADP Enterprise, QuickBooks Payroll, and Excel
- Strong knowledge of federal/state tax regulations and labor laws
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Alaska payroll certification preferred
