Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage tax filings, garnishments, and deductions across California state requirements
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies with HRIS systems
- Support year-end processes including W-2 generation and 1099 reporting
- Implement and maintain compliance with FLSA, DOL, and CA labor laws
- Train payroll staff on new processes and system updates
- Collaborate with HR on time-off tracking and leave-of-absence integration
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state exposure
- Proficiency in ADP, QuickBooks Payroll, or similar platforms
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Advanced knowledge of CA wage & hour regulations and tax codes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail (0.01% error tolerance)
- Experience with HRIS integration and data migration projects
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
