Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements, cash flows, and creditworthiness of corporate and commercial clients
- Prepare detailed credit risk assessments and recommend loan structures/conditions
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Stay current with industry regulations, economic trends, and credit market developments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and credit analysis software
- Strong understanding of GAAP, credit policies, and regulatory requirements
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and mitigate credit risk
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present findings to senior leadership
- Experience with commercial loan underwriting and portfolio management
