Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll accurately using our HRIS software, ensuring all timekeeping and attendance data is integrated correctly.
- Ensure strict compliance with FLSA, FICA, ACA, and state tax laws to mitigate risk and ensure legal adherence.
- Manage complex payroll issues, including garnishments, tax levies, and benefit deductions, with discretion and accuracy.
- Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts and produce detailed monthly reports for management review.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries regarding pay stubs, tax forms, and time-off balances.
- Collaborate with the HR and Finance departments to resolve discrepancies and improve payroll processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
- Proficiency with ADP, Paylocity, or similar payroll platforms is required.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and payroll accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive employee information with absolute confidentiality.
