Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for union and non-union employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (e.g., Illinois withholding, Form 941)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefits enrollments through HRIS integration
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies with GL accounts
- Prepare year-end forms (W-2s, 1099s) and respond to employee inquiries
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding and timekeeping systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and HRIS systems
- Knowledge of FLSA, ACA, and Illinois labor regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
