Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for over 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now.
- Ensure accurate tax filings, including federal, state, and local taxes, to maintain compliance.
- Handle garnishments, benefits deductions, and 401(k) contributions accurately and timely.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and distribute monthly payroll reports to management and HR.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee data and financial records.
- Participate in year-end audits and process W-2s and 1099s accurately.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of FLSA regulations, payroll tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Paylocity, or QuickBooks Payroll) is required.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
