Responsibilities
- Process and distribute bi-weekly payroll for all employees with 100% accuracy.
- Reconcile timekeeping data, verify hours worked, and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll tax forms (e.g., W-2s, 940s, 941s).
- Assist with the month-end close process related to payroll expenses.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay stubs, deductions, and tax information.
- Maintain organized and secure digital and physical payroll records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in payroll processing or a related accounting role.
- Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or Ceridian).
- Strong knowledge of FLSA regulations and state labor laws.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
