Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now
- Verify timecards and calculate overtime, bonuses, and deductions
- Ensure compliance with federal/state payroll regulations (FLSA, FICA)
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare tax filings (941, 940)
- Respond to payroll inquiries within 24 hours
- Generate payroll reports for executive review
- Onboard new hires with payroll setup
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- ADP or equivalent payroll system certification
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Knowledge of TN labor laws and tax codes
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Business
- CPP certification preferred
- Proven accuracy with 10-key calculator
- Ability to handle sensitive data confidentially
