Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees
- Calculate garnishments, deductions, and tax withholdings
- Ensure compliance with federal/state labor laws and regulations
- Generate payroll reports and maintain detailed records
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Reconcile payroll accounts and general ledger entries
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP or Ceridian payroll systems
- Strong knowledge of CA labor regulations and tax codes
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Business or equivalent
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy standards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
