Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll using ADP and QuickBooks systems
- Verify and reconcile timekeeping records with attendance data
- Calculate and garnish deductions (taxes, benefits, child support)
- Generate payroll reports for internal and client use
- Respond to payroll inquiries with exceptional customer service
- Ensure compliance with federal and state labor regulations
- Assist with year-end tax filings (W-2s, 1099s)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP, QuickBooks, and Excel
- Knowledge of FLSA, NC state labor laws
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Business or equivalent
- High attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
