Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employees using ADP and QuickBooks
- Calculate and garnish wage attachments, deductions, and bonuses
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare year-end tax forms (W-2, 1099) and regulatory reports
- Support HR with benefits administration and onboarding paperwork
- Ensure compliance with federal/state labor laws (FLSA, FUTA)
- Maintain confidential employee records and audit trails
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field
- 2+ years payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar systems
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, garnishment laws, and multi-state taxation
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- CPP certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
