In this role, you will assist in the preparation of individual and business tax returns while providing top-tier customer service to our valued clients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1065, and 1065-B).
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary documentation and explain tax concepts.
- Assist in tax planning and research to ensure optimal financial outcomes for clients.
- Ensure strict compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and organized client files and records.
- Utilize tax preparation software (e.g., ProSeries, Lacerte, or TurboTax) efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in tax preparation is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with tax software and government regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
