Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal/state tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Conduct tax planning consultations with clients
- Research complex tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate client documentation in tax management systems
- Collaborate with senior associates on audit support cases
- Stay current with IRS updates and Nevada tax codes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 2+ years tax preparation experience (CPA/EA preferred)
- Proficiency in ProConnect Lacerte or similar tax software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Nevada residency required for in-person client meetings
