Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Process payroll entries and maintain accurate employee payroll records.
- Support the year-end tax preparation process and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Review and categorize expense reports submitted by team members.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation and filing systems.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a part-time or contract capacity.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general bookkeeping principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
