We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Senior Accountant to join our prestigious finance team on a part-time basis. Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and monthly reconciliations for multiple ledgers.
- Prepare accurate and timely statutory financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP.
- Oversee VAT returns and ensure full compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Assist in the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and manage intercompany reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis reports.
- Support the finance team with payroll processing and budget forecasting.
Qualifications
- ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a UK-based accounting environment.
- Strong working knowledge of UK tax laws, including Corporation Tax and VAT.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
