Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 50+ employees using ADP and QuickBooks systems
- Calculate and garnish deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings with precision
- Prepare and file quarterly payroll tax returns and year-end W-2 forms
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies through audit trails
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Support HR with new hire onboarding and payroll documentation
- Generate payroll reports for management and external audits
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP, QuickBooks, or similar payroll software
- Familiarity with Texas payroll tax laws and FLSA regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical detail
- Ability to manage confidential employee data with discretion
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
