Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessment reports for loan committees
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify potential delinquency risks
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal and state lending regulations
- Utilize credit scoring models and financial software for decision support
- Communicate findings clearly to senior management and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Proficiency with Excel, financial modeling, and credit software
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis and financial ratios
- Familiarity with FICO scoring and credit bureau reports
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Relevant certifications (CFA, CRCM) preferred
